Mariah Carey gets skinny! OK, HSDT?

OK, HSDT (How'd she do that)?

Mariah Carey's been seen -- not spilling out of her usual skin-tight fishtail sparkly strapless ball gown --but wearing a cute black miniskirt, black tights and a sporty top with horizontal stripes.

And guess what, girl looks good!

Stripes are an unforgiving pattern typically shunned by all women over the age of 4 since it instantly creates the illusion of added girth. But not in Mariah's case. She still looks slim! 

I can understand that there may have been oh, a little bit of retouching involved in her official photo, seen at left.

But she looks slim in real life too. So how'd she do it? Well, it certainly wasn't by following Britney Spears diet tips in this week's OK! magazine.
