Cate Blanchett goes back to work!

Cate Blanchett is one organized actress.

She's already going back to work just six days after giving birth to her third child on Sunday. Word is she will travel from Sydney to the Australian capital, Canberra, to co-chair and participate this weekend in a government summit on the arts.

And the day before she gave birth, Cate arranged to have her gorgeous blond hair color refreshed by her longtime L.A.-based colorist, Negin Zand. Zand, who usually works out of the John Frieda Salon in West Hollywood, was in Sydney and went to the actress's home to do the color.

Given this spurt of organizational energy, don't be surprised if Cate does end up going to Cannes Film Festival for the May world premiere of "Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull."

Hmm. Wonder if Cate's labor was as well-planned as the rest of her life seems to be ...
