Brangelina give over $8.5M to charity
So they're not just talented, attractive and in love. They're also generous?
According to Roger Friedman's blog on the Huffington Post, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's tax returns show that they donated $8 million-plus dollars to charities in 2006.
Big chunks went to Doctors Without Borders (International Division) and to Global AIDS Alliance. Other grants were for the Namibia Red Cross Action Program, the Daniel Pearl Foundation (yes, the deceased husband of Mariane Pearl whom Jolie played in "A Mighty Heart"). More went to Global Green USA, two orphanages visited by Jolie, and an art park in LA.
Way to give, Angie and Brad!

Correction: GAA was the fiscal agent and administered this grant. But the funds went directly and entirely to Global Action for Children (GAC). Angelina Jolie is the honorary chair of the GAC board. Click HERE for more information.
