Oprah loses her beloved cocker spaniel

Oprah Winfrey's beloved cocker spaniel, Sophie, has died of kidney failure. She was 13.

It was not unexpected. The pooch had been suffering for many months and Oprah was prepared for the worst. But that doesn't make it any easier to lose a Best Fur Friend.

And just a year ago, her golden retriever, Gracie, accidentally choked to death on a ball. Sad!
