Oscar parties off? And Oscar parties on!
The Oscar party scene is slowly but surely thinning out.
Dani Janssen's Oscar bash at her private home for Hollywood's elite insiders has been called off. Vanity Fair sez it will hold its big blowout 15th annual Oscar party NEXT year, due to the major bummer mood caused by the writers strike. And the Entertainment Weekly party is now DOA.
But the Governors Ball is on track and it looks as if Elton John's annual Oscar fete will take place as usual. There's just no stopping Captain Fantastic and his red piano.
