Colin, Johnny or Jude: Who will take Heath's place?
No one can take Heath Ledger's place. In life or in art.
But Johnny Depp, Jude Law and Colin Farrell will all reportedly appear as Heath's character in Terry ("Time Bandits") Gilliam's "The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus," a film the Australian actor was shooting before his death by an accidental prescription drug overdose.
The three actors will play Heath's character as he travels through various time dimensions, which will apparently explain why they don't look like Heath.

Tough, tough, tough situation.
The upside? All three -Law, Depp, and Farrell, are worthy and outstanding replacements.
The downside? All three are masterful craftsmen -in their own right. Teri Gilliam knows all too well that one great actor can't replace the other.
Replacing Heath with Jude or Johnny?
Reminds me of that snafu regarding the Grammys. You know, when Aretha Franklin was upset because Beyonce refered to Tina Turner as the "Queen". C'mon, Aretha- Queen of Soul, Tina- Queen of Rock, Barbara- Queen of Pop. They are all "Queens", no doubt.
As is Heath, Jude and Johnny are extraordinary actors.
