Mary Hart wore Valentino? PLEASE settle the WGA strike!

So, tonight's 65th annual Golden Globes had no red carpet and no stars.

Not to mention NO gosh-darn designer GOWNS!

But the Golden Globes still had a smattering of style. TV anchorwoman style, that is. So let's do a fashion recap, shall we?

"The Insider" anchor Lara Spencer, who was brave enough to mention the proverbial "bump under the carpet," or rather, "elephant in the room," when she was reading her appointed "And the winner of the Golden Globe is" at tonight's eerily star-less press conference, was wearing a royal purple, ruffled-neck dress. "This feels so strange," she confessed to the audience, who couldn't agree more.

E! Network's Guliana Rancic, formerly De Pandi (now married to some "Apprentice" dude), wore a veeeery tight cap-sleeve black dress and looked hotter than any other female anchor.

Brooke Anderson wore a basic black wrap dress, kinda like a faux DFV wrap. Nice, but ehhhhnnn.

Jim Moret of "Inside Edition" looked hot in a two-button dark suit and white shirt (yikes -- careful of those pancake neck makeup stains!) with a metallic silver tie that matched his sideburns.

Dayna Devon of "Extra" did an amusing version of the new Spring '08 tuxedo look, a white silk ruffled-collar sleeveless blouse and a skin-tight black skirt.

But finally, Mary Hart of "Entertainment Tonight" fame wore a red short frock by ... an actual international (if retiring this year) designer, Valentino! The first actual celebrity to enter the Globes ballroom, she caused a media feeding frenzy when she walked in!

One reporter muttered, "Since there was no red carpet, Mary decided to wear one!"

Rumor in the ballroom is that the Oscars may not take place until April!

Dear God, no!!!!!

Actually, it was quite interesting to watch the TV media cope with the challenging problems.

LOL, for the first time in all of Entertainment Tonight history, Mary Hart can truthfully call herself the Best Dressed.

I THINK MARY HART WAS BY FAR THE BEST DRESSED OF ALL THE NEWSCASTERS  AT THE GLOBES SHE HAS SUCH SEXY LEGS.

OF ALL THE BEAUTIFUL NEWSCASTERS AT THE GLOBES,MARY HART IS MY VIEW THE BEST DRESSED ANCHOR. SHE HAS SUCH BEAUTIFUL LEGS.

I like Giuliana Rancic's Dolce & Gabanna dress way better than Mary Hart, it was sexy without been too provocative and it seems more appropiate for the type of show.

Are you kidding me, Brooke Anderson looked incredible and her legs made Mary Hart's look so 10-years ago! More Brooke in her black dress!!!

i don't care what she's wearing, with mary hart's legs, she could wear a trash bag and she would still look sexy. also in the running are serena williams, brittany spears, halle berry and kaity holmes. gorgeous gams all.
