Remembering Heath at SAG Awards
Everyone who watched the Screen Actors Guild Awards show saw Daniel Day-Lewis bring tears to many eyes with his emotional comments about Heath Ledger's talent and the dedication of his best actor statue to the young Oscar-nominated actor who died last week at 28.
But another actor, Ryan Gosling, also paid tribute to Heath by wearing a black ribbon on his charcoal-gray lapel. He told reporters on the red carpet that the pin was "in memory of Heath."
In last night's sea of borrowed diamonds, priceless gems and glittering gold, Ryan gets my vote for best -- and most thoughtful -- accessory.
Thanks, Ryan and Daniel, from all Heath's fans.

I didn't care about the SAG Awards because like the writers, the actors guild basically gave the public the virtual finger with their support of the strike.
But Ryan Gosling's gesture and Daniel-Day Lewis's words would have been worth seeing.
Thanks for letting us know there was some shining moments!
