Britney's major medical meltdown

Okay, this has gotta be the worst case of postpartum depression like, ever.

Britney Spears was taken to Cedars-Sinai hospital by ambulance late last night after she refused to turn her two sons over to Kevin Federline's bodyguard after her visitation ended. The cops arrived around 8 p.m. More cops and a firetruck arrived and got her to surrender the kids three hours later.

Britney is said to be undergoing "tests" to determine if she was under the influence of drugs, alcohol or something else weird. She can legally be held for 72 hours.

Fans, including Bobby Trendy (does he even know Britney?), best known for his appearances on Anna Nicole Smith's reality show, showed up outside Cedars to hold up what he called a "visual" for the Popped Tart. He'd actually brought framed photos of Brit Wit with him.

All the better for the TV cameras, my dears!

Let's just hope this poor girl gets help. A lot of help. And that her kids are young enough that they won't remember the night Mom went postal. Again.
