Is Katherine Heigl the new Julia Roberts?

You can say one thing about Katherine Heigl, "Grey's Anatomy" brazen blond beauty.

She does not mince words.

Not even in her cover profile in this month's Vanity Fair, where stars are likely to couch their opinions to avoid ruffling feathers. 

Heigl ruffles away in a fearlessly frank interview with VF contributing editor Leslie Bennetts, talking about marriage ("a crap shoot") and her "Anatomy" character's affair with her married best friend ("a ratings ploy").

In truth, she reminds me of that other tall, tough talking, take-no-prisoners actress: Julia Roberts.

Heck, Heigl's even honest about Judd Apatow's "Knocked Up," the movie that many think has made her a bankable movie star.

"It paints women as shrews, humorless and uptight, and it paints the men as lovable, goofy, fun-loving guys ... I'm playing such a [expletive]; why is she being such a killjoy? Why is this how you're portraying  women? Ninety-eight percent of the time it was an amazing experience, but it was hard for me to love the movie."

C'mon, Katherine. Tell us how you really feel.
