Perhaps she got tired of the beauty rituals expected of her. Leave the girl alone and let her be natural if that is what she chooses.

I remember when THE LOS ANGELES TIMES was a great newspaper that actually tried to uplift and change life for the better in this city instead of this sad trash heap for mean-spirited gossip and character assassination that it's become. It's impossible to believe that anyone who can write with such cruel intention (and for money) has either a rich inner life or any semblance of a happy relationship with another human being.
Is this the purpose of this column/blog? If so, you've just lost a reader. I expect this kind of thing from the tablolid magazines, not the L.A. Times. Not even a blog in the L.A. Times.

I think she is very gorgeous all the time, but why this photo is so different. My friend like her so much, if he sees this photo, I am sure he will be disappointed. I this her photo on tallfriends.com/photo/tallgirlhiven is very charming. I think this one is false.
One of two options: 1) she's prepping for a role; or 2) she's tired of dressing up and being dolled up in makeup and designer clothes and just wants to be herself. I vote the last one.
