Gowns? Bah! What will Globes nominees EAT?
Oh, who cares about the darn gowns and tuxedos! What about the food at the Golden Globe Awards?
If The Envelope's Awards Seer Tom O'Neil's early Golden Globes predix are correct(and we won't find that out until tomorrow morning!), best actress in a drama nominees Cate Blanchett, Julie Christie, Jodi Foster, Angelina Jolie and Keira Knightley may devour an organic salad with crisp apricot dill goat cheese in phyllo and vermicelli-crusted avocado on a poached pear with maple-syrup apple-cider vinagarette.
Tom's best actor in a drama selections Russell Crowe, Daniel Day-Lewis, Viggo Mortensen, George Clooney and Denzel Washington may enjoy the grilled beef tenderloin with lotus fritto, or sauteed aromatic Asian herbed Chilean sea bass with ginger sherry Yuzu pepper sauce, sauteed Simeji mushroom, young bok choy, jicama and onion potato croquette.
If there's any room, possible nominees such as Amy Ryan, Tilda Swinton, Julia Roberts, Amy Adams, Helena Bonham Carter, Marion Cotillard and Ellen Page may try the dessert, a chocolate Golden Globe statue with organic yogurt pistachio orange mousse.
All will be prepared by chef Suki Sugiura and pastry chef Juan Sigala.
Makes me hungry just thinking about it.
