Whoever needs a big-screen TV, raise your hand
Hey did you get one of these invites? If so, lucky you.
If not, here's who you may miss seeing at DirecTV's Sunday night post-Emmy bash in West Hollywood for the 100 HD Channels Launch: Kyra Sedgwick ("The Closer"), Denis Leary ("Rescue Me"), Mary-Louise Parker and Elizabeth Perkins ("Weeds"), Justin Long (from Apple's Mac ads), Milo Ventimiglia ("Heroes"), Kate Flannery ("The Office"), Salli Richardson ("I Am Legend"), Robert Patrick ("Walk the Line"/"Charlie's Angels"), "American Idol" maker Paula Abdul, Sharon Lawrence ("NYPD Blue"/"Monk"), Ashley Jensen ("Ugly Betty"/"Extras"), Hugh Hefner (unnngggh) and his blond-bimbo posse, Victor Williams and Gary Valentine ("King of Queens"), Erin Cardillo, Tracey Ross and Ben Masters ("Passions"), as well as Justin Berfield ("Malcolm in the Middle").
According to the tip sheet, that's who is planning to show up. Of course, they may not. And many others not mentioned might. It's worth noting that every nominee/winner who attends this bash gets a free big-screen HDTV. What, Emmy-party bribery? We're shocked, simply shocked.
