Harold Perrineau would return to 'Lost,' hasn't been asked

haroldperrineau_lost_s4_290.jpgHarold Perrineau has been openly critical of his former gig on "Lost," but our favorite "WAAAAALT!" shouter swears he's not holding out on a return to the Island.

One former castaway is apparently refusing to return for the show's final season, and while the safe bet was on Perrineau, he called E! Online to say it ain't so.

The truth? He'd go back, but hasn't been given the chance.

"Honestly, no one has asked," Harold told the site's Kristin Dos Santos. "But if I was asked to come back to 'Lost,' indeed I would say yes. We all started that journey together, and I would love to be able to end it with everybody. It would be a great thing to do, to get to say goodbye to them all at the same time. I would love to go back and hang out a little bit."

Meanwhile, the "28 Weeks Later" co-star just can't get away from numbered supernatural baddies: He's currently filming "Darker Days," the sequel to vampire action flick "30 Days of Night."

See what else Perrineau told E! Online.

Libby not returning, likely?

Aah! A little bit spoiler-y, don't you think?

Ausiello says the actress who played Rousseau has said 'no' to returning.

Just start LOST already all these tidbits make the wait seem longer than it is!!!!

It is too bad they didn't give The Unusuals a bit longer to catch on. It was a really well-written show, and Perrineau's character was terrific.

It seems pretty obvious that Perrineau can't come back because Michael would need to be accompanied by a 10-year-old Walt, and that's toothpaste you can't put back into the tube.

I would really like to see Michael back in Season 6.

It will be interesting to see what they do with Walt. I feel like he's too important not to do something significant in Season 6, so I have a feeling he'll be there.

Memo to Harold: If you want to guest star on a show in the future, it's a good idea not to blast said show in the press.

Good, that character was the first (of many) that the writers made too annoying to put up with. WAALT and all the yelling 'BRING ME THAT COCONUT, NO NOT THAT ONE, NO I HAVE TO...' Ugh.(Kate and Locke quickly took his place when he initially left).

Btw, didn't Ben tell Michael he could never come back to the island. Even with a time reboot I think the Island should hold to its semi-ominipotent promises. It never let him off the freighter.

Why are Michael and Libby in the promo poster for season 6 if they haven't agreed to or been asked to come back? I don't understand that.
