Sterling Beaumon will help you feel a little less 'Lost'
Still reeling from the shocking finale of "He's Our You"? Same here, "Lost" fans. It's not as if we had a solid grip on what was happening on the Island BEFORE that event, but now, we're more confused than ever. What will the repercussions be from Sayid shooting Young Ben? Well, how about asking Young Ben himself? Because that's exactly what you can do.
I'll be conducting an exclusive interview with Lil' Ben himself, Sterling Beaumon, in anticipation of this week's upcoming episode. We'll discuss his pivotal role on the show, get some non-spoilery insights into the future, and maybe share some recipes. OK, maybe not the latter.
But I need your help, Zap2it readers: what burning questions do you have for Sterling? Either post in the comments below or email me your questions. I'll take the best and incorporate them into the interview! Make sure to have your questions in by 5 pm EST on Monday, March 30th. As a preview, I'll let you vote on one of the questions I plan on asking Sterling.

Sterling,
When you filmed your episode in Season 3, were you told at that time "Don't get your haircut too crazy, kid, we're gonna need you again in a couple of years?" or was your reintroduction to the show as recent a surprise to you as well as us?

Sterling, do you watch LOST? Are you a fan of the show? How did you feel when you were told that you would be playing the role of Young Ben?
I'm enjoying your work. I hope that we will be seeing more of you as Young Ben.
And, for the record, I was SO hoping that at least one of our Losties would show Young Ben some comp***ion. A little positive mentoring and "parenting" would have gone a long way toward making a kinder and gentler Adult Ben...
What kind of advice, if any, has Michael Emerson given you on playing a young Ben Linus?
What is it like for you to play the younger version of someone we know becomes, at the very least, morally questionable later in their life? ***uming that Ben somehow survives Sayid's shooting him, what are your thoughts on acting in the transitional period between your current Ben, with whom I must admit I sympathize somewhat, and Michael Emerson's more hardened, ruthless version of Ben? Thanks.
Sterling, (great name, btw) I wanted to tell you that you blew me away in that death scene! It's very unusual for someone young to play something so foreign as death as well as you did! You're a very talented actor and I think you'll go far. :)
My question is: What is your theory about Ben's being shot? Do you think he will die and if so, what do you think this will mean for the rest of the Losties/Others?
agree that Sterling does a great job as young Ben. and A-Rob asked my question already. the only other question i'd ask is this: is Josh Halloway as hot in person as he is on tv, and somehow i don't think that's appropriate...
:-)
Sterling, when you started playing this role, how much of it did you want to emulate Michael Emerson (his mannerisms, his personality, etc) and how much was you putting your own "spin" on the character? What was that process like, as an actor?
Sterling, without giving anything away, do you think that this arc completely explains why young Ben became our beloved/hated adult Ben- or should we expect to have some unanswered questions left about young Ben's past? If there are, that might make it more likely you'll be back next year- unless they need an older young Ben.
Hello Stirling! I was very excited to see you back on the show, and I was really hoping someone would have kicked the crap out of Ben's dad. However, my question has to do with why Ben later captures Kate, Jack and Sayer later in life and keeps them in cages. Is it because he saw their shananigans when they were with the DI - or is it just because he wanted to make their lives miserable? I've never got over the craziness of that situation or what made it seem like a cool idea to Ben.
