'Lost': Recap for 'Because You Left' and 'The Lie' now live
Well, Lost fans, I hope it was worth the wait! I know I sure felt like it was. Even though I'm now muttering, "When am I?" over and over again. Hope that goes away in the near future. Then again, the future's relative. Oh look, nose bleed. Awesome. In any case, I've posted the recap over at It Happened Last Night, a sister blog here at Zap2It. Leave all your comments and thoughts and WAAAAAAAALTs over there.
And if you missed tonight's live chat experiment, you can go back (not unlike the Oceanic 6, though with far less risk and angst) and read what went down.
And now, if you'll excuse me, I'm off to ice my wrists and savor a great night of Lost. Namaste, y'all.

that was amazing! I am falling in love with lost allll over again. Hugo and his hot pocket toss of DOOM! Oh I am so happy right now.
I think Hurley's code name should be Bloop!
Praise Jacob, this crazy frakkin' show is back.
My mind is officially jelly now, I'm going to go leak it out at It Happened Last Night.
"The dream police, they live inside of my head" -Cheap Trick
Gotta love Ana Lucia.
So, I was thinking, Mrs. Hawking = Jacob?????
Nah that would be too easy.
So, If Daniel is the only one with a constant, why is everyone else not getting nosebleeds, only Charlotte?
So, more questions....I can't even begin to fathom the whole "island skipping through time" concept. Does Locke have to die to get off the island to warn the others?
Richard seems unstuck in a different time than Locke. It seems as if others move in time at a different pace than our Losties. While the people at the beach move at certain times, the others move less often, sometimes coinciding with our losties, sometimes not. This could get really interesting. Maybe too interesting for me to wrap my puny brain around.
OK, maybe I'm a blog purest, or maybe a blog-snob, but I'm just gonna post over here. My nagging question, when you get around to it, is this:
Did Desmond travel back in time again (to meet up with Faraday) or did the memory of that meeting suddenly pop into his head? And I had that creeping frustration feeling last night as many characters get their motivations from LACK of communication from other characters.
Open request to Benjamin Linus: Hey Benny, maybe if you explained to everyone that you're on a mission to save the world, they would be a little more cooperative! (and don't give me the "they have to WANT to go back" crap) If Hurley had known your motivation for having to go back, he may have thought twice about giving himself up. Just sayin that the lack of communication gets to be a little too much of a plot device (like amnesia) that gets a little tiring after a while.
Sawyer, I was there with ya brutha when you bi*#$-slapped Faraday into a clear and concise answer to a question which, at this point in the plot, isn't as complex as Faraday thinks it is!
How come Cindy and the other tailies didn't stay in the same time with Locke and everyone else?
The Island knows who's in each group? and if that's the case why did it leave Locke?
I had the most wonderful idea/theory while I was watching the pre-show/re-cap show. I suppose Richard Alpert traveled back in time when he knew Locke was "special" to try to get him to the island sooner.
Just wanted to say that I'm glad you left an archive logged of the chat b/c I read it in its entirety after I had finished watching the show and it was cool to read the thoughts of everyone - although I wasn't quite sure of which scene everyone was referring to all the time.
I haven't watched a show live in about 15 years, but I may next week if the chat is back. I haven't done a chat with a tv show before, but have a lot with sports and fight cards, so I'm used to the dynamic of knowing when to concentrate exclusively on the tv and when to read the chat. I hope the chat is back next week and beyond. It looked like it would have been fun to participate in. Although, I will get different commercials that you guys would (am in Canada) so I hope there wouldn't be a lag (on one side or the other) from commercial breaks.
