"Ugly Betty" returns tonight and I'd say the episode is pretty close to top form. The only thing missing is a few really solid Wilhelmina/Marc zingers. But the "UB" world will warm up your Thursday night regardless... even if Mode is close to bankruptcy. I mean, Betty's still with the rich boyfriend, so all's well on that end...

Though their full fall schedule won't be announced until next month's Upfronts in New York, ABC has given several of its series the early green light for another season...

Breaking news: The Hills isn't completely fake. On Wednesday, I went to a private Epic Records showcase to see this new Irish band, The Script, and you won't believe who was working the event. Audrina. I mean, the whole thing was being filmed, so maybe it was just an elaborate set up for the show, but she did pass out CDs to the small crowd before cameras rolled, so... yeah, I don't know.
