Shailenewoodley I'm going to lose my mind because of Monday nights. Too much TV scheduled, one show on top of an another on top of another. I did, however, manage to keep up with most of it yesterday evening and will reveal a bit of pregnancy-themed intel regarding a few of those series -- "Secret Life of the American Teenager," "One Tree Hill," "How I Met Your Mother" and we'll throw in some "90210" for good measure -- right now.

Jasonpriestley Last night, cable's newest success story, ABC Family's The Secret Life of the American Teenager, ended the first half of its inaugural season with boffo numbers. Attracting more than 4.5 million viewers -- 3 million of them in the attractive 12-34 demo -- it not only beat its own ratings record, but easily bested The CW's new 90210 spin off, which fell 30% from its debut to 3.3 million viewers overall.

Interesting fact: Jason Priestley, who rose to fame playing Brandon Walsh on 90210's original series, directed yesterday's Secret Life of the American Teenager finale.

Shawnjohnson Since Olympic gold and silver medalist Shawn Johnson returned from the Summer 2008 Games just a week or so ago, she has been making the TV rounds, appearing on Letterman, Leno and leading the Pledge of Allegiance at the Democratic National Convention. But don't expect her to disappear anytime soon. Reliable sources tell me the balance beam queen has just booked a cameo role on Summer's newest cable hit, Secret Life of the American Teenager. Johnson is scheduled to tape her acting debut this week, and I'm hearing it will air next Tuesday during Teenager's first season finale.

Annalynnemccord With the premiere of the highly anticipated 90210 last night, it feels like the Fall season has officially begun and I'm compelled to do a little morning-after commentary. A simple rundown of the evening's best and brightest, as far as I'm concerned...

Most Likely To Succeed: New series 90210. Sure, we've only seen one episode so far -- well, technically, two -- but I do believe the new 90210 crew deserves high fives all around. It didn't suck. More »
