And of course, we already know a few things... mainly that Jack Bauer is working at a school in the fictional African country of Sangala when a military coup erupts. It's Monday... perhaps a super quick Q&A session to start the week?

Happy Halloween and happy Friday. Figured I'd tackle a few of your True Blood questions today, since some of you seem to be fiending for answers...

It's a big day, people. Whether you're carving pumpkins on Halloween eve or protecting your home from the perils of Devil's Night -- sorry, that's a Detroit reference -- please don't forget to tune your TV to NBC at 9:30 p.m. because 30 Rock premieres this evening. It's on right after The Office and, you know, even if you've already peeped the episode online, just leave your set on while Liz Lemon and her merry band of misfits do their thing tonight. The Emmy-winning comedy needs your vote of confidence. Or rather, the network it airs on needs to see numbers, so support!

You know, I sort of want to cry when I think about the small percentage of TV viewers who've discovered the genius that is Friday Night Lights. I swear, each scene is like its own little touchdown, and tonight's hour -- airing on DirecTV -- is a lovely example of that. I thought I'd begin the week by answering a few of your burning TV questions, and letting So You Think You Can Dance/Dance Crew fans know that SYTYCD season three finalists Dominic and Hok showed up to the Los Angeles ABDC auditions with their crew, Quest, this Saturday. The internet rumors regarding the casting of Ryan Lafferty, William Walker's illegitimate son, are indeed true. 24-year-old Luke Grimes has signed on the dotted line and is now officially the newest member of the Brothers & Sisters cast. And though my friends at E! Online and EW.com were throwing his name around on Monday, Luke tells me he just found out yesterday. Am I the only "TV enthusiast" (aka loser couch potato) who was unaware that Aliens In America's Dan Byrd is guest starring on tonight's penultimate episode of Greek as Clark Duke's BFF? Playing Dale's "best friend" and purity pledge brother who transfers to CRU -- because his parents hope that rooming with Dale will help him clean up his pothead act -- Byrd and Duke provide several laughs tonight, so please tune in.

This Fall, 30 Rock will welcome a killer line up of guest stars, kicking the party off with Megan Mullally as Liz's adoption agent in the October 30th premiere, a superb Oprah-filled half hour on November 6th, and later, appearances by Jennifer Aniston -- as Liz's old roommate who loses it for Jack -- and, of course, legend Steve Martin. NBC has stayed mum on Martin's storyline, but a well-informed mole now tells me the actor-comedian will play Liz Lemon's next love interest.

Greek came back into our living rooms to kick off season two just a couple months back and, as far as I'm concerned, has been killing it week after week. Showing no signs of a sophomore slump, the series is at its best and I can't believe it's already time for another break. In the world of CRU, Summer is upon us, and this Tuesday, we'll bid farewell to our favorite frat boys and sorority gals in a mid-season finale that changes a lot... it's Hell Week, bitches, and there are gold fish involved.

On tap today? Desperate Housewives, One Tree Hill, Brothers & Sisters. Your queries, my responses:

There are few new shows this Fall that I'm thrilled with, so it was quite a relief to find last week's Life on Mars premiere totally enjoyable. Based on a BBC series of the same name, producers are now saddled with the task of turning a 16-episode event into a long-running series. They seem to be off to a good start with really solid casting -- Jason O'Mara, Harvey Keitel, Michael Imperioli, Lisa Bonet, Gretchen Mol -- a classic soundtrack and cool wardrobe (diggin' O'Mara in the 70s-flavor threads and Mol in that charming, vintage police woman get-up). The overall vibe has me wondering what's to come. E.P. Josh Appelbaum was kind enough to clue me in...

I wasn't so sure about Eli Stone right from the start. I liked the pilot, but when it premiered last January, it seemed to falter a bit. Still, I stuck with ES and came to realize the faltering was nothing more than a few bumps on the road to a really solid show. The last four episodes leading up to the season finale were fantastic, so I was pleased to see ABC would give the ratings-challenged series a second shot this Fall. And that second shot starts tonight. I've seen this evening's hour, and have to tell you that even if you haven't seen the show before, you should tune in.

Are you watching The CW's Privileged on Tuesday nights? Rina Mimoun -- whose career I've followed since she took the Everwood reins from Greg Berlanti, so he could focus on building his future TV empire -- is hoping so and wants fans to know there is some seriously good stuff on tap.
