If you follow KTV at all, you know I'm pretty much obsessed with HBO's "Big Love" and everything Henrickson-related. So, yeah, I had to miss the airing of my primetime TV debut last night, because the Paley Festival was honoring "Big Love" at the same time. But honestly, I didn't think twice about it. So, both "Desperate Housewives" and "Big Love" went out last night with a major death. In the case of "DH," we knew it was going down, and though the final scenes made it seem like Edie has a chance, there's no question Nicollette Sheridan is bidding the show adieu. As for "Big Love," the loss is one which we speculated would happen, but weren't one hundred percent sure...

If you are lucky enough to be one of the six million viewers watching HBO's "Big Love" this season, I'm betting that you're waiting pretty impatiently for this Sunday's finale. Last week's penultimate hour dropped what is easily the series' most shocking reveal to date and yet it was done with such subtlety and grace that it's impossible to not wonder where the show is going next...

The story of Bill Henrickson and family will have a fourth installment. Though HBO hasn't made any official announcements, insiders tell me that -- just three weeks into its third season -- Big Love has been renewed for season four. Hell yes.

Breaking news: The Hills isn't completely fake. On Wednesday, I went to a private Epic Records showcase to see this new Irish band, The Script, and you won't believe who was working the event. Audrina. I mean, the whole thing was being filmed, so maybe it was just an elaborate set up for the show, but she did pass out CDs to the small crowd before cameras rolled, so... yeah, I don't know. Anyway, today: Friday Night Lights, United States of Tara, Life on Mars, Big Love, Lost, Ugly Betty, The Office and 90210, topped with a little David Silver time. Enjoy.

This Sunday, Big Love begins its third season -- a season I've been waiting for for quite some time -- and I must beg you to watch it. Whether you've seen Big Love before or not doesn't really matter. What matters is that it is one of a handful of current drama series that make television great.
