America's Best Dance Crew
Will Quest win America's Best Dance Crew? According to my totally unscientific poll, yes. Though all-girl group Beat Freaks is well respected and clearly talented, the vast majority of fans that I've encountered seem to be leaning towards Quest Crew after last week's stunning performances...
Today, a very quick Q&A. Your questions on United States of Tara, The Big Bang Theory, How I Met Your Mother and America's Best Dance Crew...

Happy Monday, mo-fos (I say that with love, of course). I thought I'd begin the week by answering a few of your burning TV questions, and letting So You Think You Can Dance/Dance Crew fans know that SYTYCD season three finalists Dominic and Hok showed up to the Los Angeles ABDC auditions with their crew, Quest, this Saturday. Word is, they killed it. Apparently, they pulled out their own banner -- which they
made to look exactly like the ones on the show -- in the middle of their performance. Confidence. Love it. I'll call B.S. if they don't make the series.

It's Monday... and I'm just as unhappy about this as you are. A little TV Q&A to get us through?...
Go hard or go home. Those are the words of judge Lil' Mama (pictured left with me, backstage at the premiere taping) and it seems to be the
unofficial theme of this second installment of America's Best Dance
Crew. For those who caught the live casting special a couple weekends
back, you know there's a great deal of talent in the ten crews that
made the cut. But tonight, you'll see more than a few of the finalists falter.

Before I sign off for the weekend, I wanted to give you guys a quick TV fix, just for kicks... and also, to let you know that, as promised, I connected with my October Road peeps who confirmed that the conclusion they're planning is still set to run just 15 minutes long, as executive producer Josh Appelbaum originally told me. Sorry for the confusion. A source close to the three e.p.s says that, as of now, the guys are funding this finale out of their own pockets. That is a commendable commitment to their fans, no? So unless someone wants to donate a couple million bucks, I guess we should all be grateful for what we're getting.
