Korbi Ghosh

Korbi Ghosh owes her life to Aaron Spelling. Growing up an aspiring auto worker in Detroit, Korbi's early years were spent daydreaming about spark plugs, exhaust pipes and the finer points of '80s fashion. Think Flashdance but with less coordination. All that changed, however, with the invention of a small miracle called Beverly Hills, 90210. Korbi had been captivated by TV before—Punky Brewster, The Cosby Show and that adorable Alex P. Keaton on Family Ties—but it was the dawn of Aaron Spelling's teen drama that turned her love of television into a serious obsession, one that led her to...college. Korbi spent four years at the University of Michigan, devoting countless hours to "studying" at the KEG house and dating a succession of rebels, all named Dylan, until she finally graduated with a hangover and a degree in psychology. After that, there was only one place to go: Beverly Hills. However, upon her arrival, she learned the devastating truth: The Peach Pit was not a real place. This led to a deep depression, which resulted in a short stint in the mental health ward of Cedars-Sinai Hospital. She emerged with the tools necessary to make it in L.A.: a doctor's prescription, low self-esteem and insufficient funds for a return ticket home. So, she refocused, dedicating her life to the service of obsessed TV fans everywhere. When she's not gallivanting around town gathering small-screen scoop, she's sitting too close to the television in her Hollywood apartment, which boasts four DVRs, 11 remote controllers and the complete series collections of more than 50 shows, including Frasier, Party of Five and The Wonder Years.
