'Castle': E.P. Rob Bowman on Beckett & Alexis, Alyssa Milano, 'X-Files' & more
Is it just us, or has "Castle" gotten really good?
Not saying we weren't into season one... but season two has upped the fun flirting,
the insane cases and, of course, the shout outs to Nathan Fillion's projects of the past, making it a pretty enjoyable hour of TV every week.
So, yeah, we decided we'd send KTV correspondent Marisa Roffman to stalk executive producer Rob Bowman at
an IBG, Inc.-run charity event celebrating "X-Files" (on which he was a producer/frequent director).
She grilled him on this Monday's "Castle" episode, upcoming guest star Alyssa
Milano, whether he's going to direct the possible third "X-F"
feature film and more...
Any thoughts?
Looking forward to seeing Beckett's relationship with Castle's kid blossom? Or is Alyssa Milano's upcoming arrival of more interest to you?

I love Castle! Thanks for the great interview with Mr. Bowman!
great interview
It's so not just you!!!
Great scoops and a great interview. It's so nice to hear from an EP who knows his fictional world so well and who also so cares about the audience who he continues to create it for. I love the way he describes the Castle/Beckett dynamic as a "playground" romance...well put!
Excellent job Marisa!!! :D
Did he have a cold or something?
Thanks, everyone :)
Kath- It really is impressive how much he clearly cares about the show. He knows the world inside and out, and I admire that.
Kel- Yeah, poor guy was sick with a cold :(
I love this show.
I'm really excited about Beckett's relationship with Alexis. The show does core relationships so well an Castle's family is a joy.
Not so keen on yet another ex of Castle's showing up but at least it's only for one episode.
Since I gave up on House, Castle is my reason to watch TV on Monday nights.
p.s. Good interview, Marisa.
I love to watch the castle. The Castle is one of my favourite shows. I Hope everybody is really excited about Beckett's relationship with Alexis.

Great piece! I love hearing about what is in store for the characters on this show. It's so much fun, and the banter between the two leads reminds me of the Nick and Nora Charles interaction in The Thin Man.
