'How I Met Your Mother': Jason Segel makes beautiful music

Remember "Extreme"? "More Than Words"?

You know...

Is not the words I want to hear from youuuuuuuuu

Okay, well, if you don't, then you are very young and I am starting to get very, very old.

Thankfully, Jason Segel and I are about the same age and "How I Met Your Mother" co-creators Craig Thomas and Carter Bays only have a few years on us and they remember "More Than Words" quite well.

So well, in fact, that they wrote a sort of homage to the song, worked it into this week's "HIMYM" episode and tracked down "Extreme" lead guitarist Nuno Bettencourt to help create a music video.

That's right, "Mother" friends, "HIMYM"'s annual music video extravaganza is upon us, and this year, Marshall Eriksen is taking center stage.

I was lucky enough to be on set during the filming a couple weeks back and I witnessed some good stuff.
