The CW promo machine is cranking up again -- this time for new series "The Beautiful Life," set in the high fashion modeling world.

And what better way to sell us on these so-called models than by having the actors who play them pose au naturel?

Enjoy!

ashley is way too big to be a model.

oh, i meant Benjamin!!

*Cough* not clever *cough.*

I think it's been well established that Sara Paxton's character is based on Ashton's real-life modeling experiences. *Cough* But you just keep right on *coughing* because it's just so *cough* trendy, okay?

How could Sara Paxton's character be based on Ashton Kutcher? Is she a farm boy from Iowa like Ashton was? No. Is Ben Hollingsworth's character? Yes.

Ask Ashton. It came straight from his mouth at the TCA press briefing last month.

Yeah, maybe Ben "looks" like Ashton and the "farm boy from Iowa" thing matches up. But Ashton's modeling experiences, to everyone's surprise, are channeled thru Raina (Paxton's character). *Cough!*

The interviews I've seen with Kutcher say Ben's character is based on the show's writer Adam Giaudrone who is also a former model. Then he goes on and contradicts that by saying all the ways it's like him. Maybe all male models have the same experiences. Ha.

Awesome photos! Can't wait.

Really provocative photo campaign. Don't know how I feel about it other than to say that in the case of at least Sara Paxton, she defintely grew up and is no longer the tween girl I watched just a few years ago (and got her autograph to boot!)...

It'll be interesting to see how the campaign plays out and how the show does.
