Due to an undisclosed medical issue for star Maura Tierney, NBC's new drama "Parenthood" has been pushed to midseason and Michelle Trachtenberg's new series "Mercy" will be bumped up to launch in September instead of January.
The cast and crew of the medical show have been asked to start work much earlier than expected in order to make a fall debut.
But what does this mean for Trachtenberg's upcoming stint on "Gossip Girl"?
Will she still be able to appear as Blair's roommate in the three-episode arc we were promised?
According to sources close to the series, there should not be a conflict, as Trachtenberg's "Mercy" contract included a clause allowing her time off to shoot "GG."
