Jimparsons My friends, I'm exhausted.

5:40 a.m.?

I mean, really?

Would announcing the nominations at 9 a.m. PST, noon EST be so insane?

Oh well. If I have to wake up to something long before the sun rises, it might as well be Chandra Wilson's giggly face and Jim Parson's adorable grin.

Congrats to those two on their nods, by the way. I'm thrilled for Parsons who embodies the role of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory" with such ease and hilarity, I'm pretty sure he actually is Sheldon.

Also going to sip some champagne for the supporting cast of "30 Rock" -- Jane Krakowski, Jack McBrayer and Tracy Morgan -- without whom, Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin would be only half as brilliant.

High fives all around for "Big Love"'s well-deserved nod in the Outstanding Drama Series category, however the exclusion of "Friday Night Lights," "True Blood" and "Rescue Me" kind of makes me want to strangle someone.

Also, how is it that "So You Think You Can Dance" pretty much swept the Outstanding Choreography category -- congrats to Tabitha and Napolean, Mia Michaels, Tyce Diorio and Dmitry Chaplin! -- yet "Dancing with the Stars" is nominated for Outstanding Reality Series but "SYTYCD" is not? Makes no sense.

Of course the fact that Cat Deeley is constantly overlooked as best reality host is the biggest joke ever, so you know, whatever, I'm not even gonna go there...

But you can.

I just can't believe True Blood got snubbed. It's one of the hottest shows out there.

Also a notable snub, Kiefer Sutherland. "24" was at its best this past season, but gets snubbed.

January Jones and Friday Night Lights were snubbed.

30 Rock probably deserves to win Best Comedy Series, but would love to see HIMYM take home the award. Such an underrated show.

agree with everything you said

Did anyone realistically think BSG was going to get nominated in its final season? I love the show as much as the next fan but the show was as it's creative peak at the end of season 2 and all throughout season 3 and it didn't get any love, ever. I fail to understand why shows about the human condition can just get written off just because they're in the "scifi" box. And the damn network can change it's name to something new and stupid all they want but it's not gonna give them any more credibility.

BSG deserved Emmys long ago, but oh well. At least Lost got some love this year.

The fact that Elizabeth Mitchell and all of FNL got snubbed, upsets me the most.

Yea, for Elizabeth Moss.

30 Rock all the way. And Michael Emerson of 'Lost'.

I cannot believe that True Blood did not receive any nominations. Also, Connie Britton and Kyle Chandler really deserve nominations for FNL.

FNL, SYTYCD, and Cat Deeley snubs are RIDICULOUS!!!!

Wholeheartedly agreed on the SYTYCD snubs! I can't believe there's a tv show host of any kind better than Cat Deeley. And yes, if the choreography on SYTYCD blows DWTS's work away, then the reversed nomination/snub for best series is a head-scratcher to say the least.
