'One Tree Hill' welcomes Haley's sis

If you're a "One Tree Hill" fan, you'll soon be getting well acquainted with the lady to your left, as The CW confirms that she's just landed a series regular role on the show.

Playing Haley's sister Quinn -- it was first reported that she is an older sibling, I was then told she is Haley's baby sis, but her age is actually up in the air as of now -- Shantel VanSanten is the second new actor to be added to the "Tree Hill" cast since Chad Michael Murray and Hilarie Burton's departure. "Lipstick Jungle"'s Robert Buckley won the role of Nathan's sports agent and mentor last week.

Quinn is supposed to be older than Haley because Haley is the baby of the family. That is show canon. So, if they make Quinn younger they're just rewriting history...which isn't really that surprising since they've done it before.

If they're writing Quinn as the baby they better be willing to give the fans who have stuck it out for 7 years some explanation, and answers like "if fans are thinking of what year it is and not wrapped up in the story we're not doing our job" that we've gotten from the past, beause guess what Mark - We ARE asking those questions, and you said it not us!!

The whole reason Haley's parents up and left in season 2 was because she got married, and she was the last kid they had to worry about taking care of. The baby flew the nest and they could too. Not to mention more than once she's said she's the baby, and Taylor refered to her as the baby when she was around too!

Haley is the youngest out of her siblings. Haley said she was the youngest even her parents said she was the youngest. I will be ****ed if they make Quinn younger than Haley.

they can't bring her as Haley's younger sister that would be stupid otherwise say she is a half sister but cant do that with the name quinn

I might have to break up with OTH. It should've ended this year - we left our gal Brooke in a good place with Julian; and the other two couples were married and happy. Just time to be done. Robert Buckley is hot, but that's not going to be enough to make me watch. And I couldn't care any less about a sister of Haley's that we've never even seen before.
