Dominicmonaghan By now you've probably heard about Dominic Monaghan (aka "Lost"'s dearly departed Charlie) recently showing up in fall promos for ABC and you've likely heard the surrounding debate... Is he returning to "Lost"? Has he been cast on the network's new series, "Flash Forward"?

Well, according to a tweet from a Hollywood talent agency assistant -- thanks to Dark UFO for the tip -- not only will Dominic Monaghan be coming back to "Lost" for four episodes next season, but Maggie Grace (Shannon, Sayid's unlikely season 2 lover, whom Ana Lucia shot and killed) will return for six.

Could it be true?

The Twitter feed looks legit and the update also includes the info that Emilie de Ravin (Claire) will be back for the full year, a fact that we already have confirmation on. So... yeah, I don't know.

An investigation is mounting...

In the meantime, any thoughts?

UPDATE: The same Hollywood assistant is now tweeting that all principle characters from season 1 -- minus Michael and Walt -- will appear in this upcoming final season at some point.

UPDATE #2: The Hollywood assistant has pulled his Twitter feed down... oh boy. Some are saying the whole thing was a hoax, but uh, yeah, we'll see...

i doubt its totally true, i think most original cast members will return for appearance or two, i can't see anything beyond that, but what about Desmond he reportedly grouped a crew member could abc fire him?

I hope it's not true as much as I loved Charlie and thought how fun he was, I think the show needs to move forward and not backwards.

I agree with Alicia 100%

I love alot of the characters that are now dead..but why bring them back??

Unless it is for a flashback but the numbers they are saying that is far to many for flashbacks.

Also..if you bring back 2 dead people don't you need to bring them all back

The twitter page doesn't exist now. Hoax or was he being too revealing and feared he'd get in trouble?

Why are people finding this hard to believe? I'm not saying that the source is 100% real or whatever, but if it IS true, then that means that the bomb did in fact STOP the plane from crashing. If they never crashed there, the dead characters would most likely still be ALIVE and therefore in the show.

Ryan, the thing is we do not want the show to go back to them boarding the plane and arriving in LAX like nothing happened ... whatever happened happened!

With Ian Somerhalder on another network I question the validity of the rumour.

I hated Shannon, this better not be true!

Lostie47, obviously if "the plan" worked out and they did land in LAX, they wouldn't go about their normal lives as if nothing happened. If that was the case, the last season would really suck. I think (if they did land safely) they would possibly retain their memories? There would have to be a new factor that would tie everyone back together or the show wouldn't make sense and it would be 16 episodes of boring!

I understand what you mean Ryan ... but not everyone would remember everything that happened to them ... mostly those still alive now I guess will remember them/and what happened!
