Bryan Fuller has quit 'Heroes'
Though NBC has yet to officially confirm the news, sources very close to "Heroes" tell me that writer-producer Bryan Fuller -- better known, in my mind anyway, as the man behind "Pushing Daisies" and "Dead Like Me" -- has quit the NBC drama.
Fuller, who was a co-executive producer on the fairly well-received first season of "Heroes," left the show to run "Pushing Daisies" in 2007, but returned to "Heroes" as a consulting producer and writer when "PD" was canceled earlier this year.
It was the hope of many a "Heroes" fan that Fuller would help put the series back on track after its less successful second and third season.
Fuller, who has a two year deal with Universal Media Studios, will now concentrate on developing other projects of his own for UMS.
My first thought?
Good.
Great things happen when this guy creates from scratch.
What do you think?

'Heroes': Give us more Bryan Fuller, preferably on his own show

Like anyone even watches this show. Its so 2006!
I'm so 2008. Heroes, 2000 and LATE!
I know right! Should have ended after the 1st season.
good for him, he's far to good to be held attached to such a train-wreck. maybe this could mean good news on a possible PD movie or better yet a new dazzling gem for us all the love and watch.
Heroes is a complete bore this season. I bet Bryan took one look at what was already in the can and said "get me otta here!"
A PD movie, LOL... Yea after they work on a Eli Stone and a Dirty Sexy Money move... LOL!
"Boom Boom Pow" everyone!!
I guess Mr. Fuller is as smart as fans who are no longer watching this show...especially after the whole, "you-killed-my-son-you-sexy-psycho-killer-you-so-now-I-will-get-the-underused/misused-policeman-psychic-to-make-you-think-that-you-are-my-sexy-screwed-over-son-so-there" lame-butt plot-twist of the Season Finale!
While I like Heroes, Bryan Fuller is a genius that would be wasted on that show.
I still hope the show will move in a new direction. The fact that they're adding new cast members make me so.
Bryan Fuller is far far too good for a trainwreck like Heroes.
I am looking forwards his two new projects. Bryan Fuller is a little genius in the TV writing department.
