TwitterKara DioGuardi outs Adam Lambert as openly gay, says she doesn't know if she'll be back on 'American Idol'
Appearing on "The View" this morning, "American Idol"'s fourth judge, Ms. Kara DioGuardi -- also known as the chick whose talent shamed "bikini girl" off the stage -- said a whole lot... though she still managed to avoid directly answering whether or not she felt Adam Lambert should've won.
No matter. We know she and her fellow panelists were backing Adam, because he has the bigger talent.
What she did, however, directly come out and say? That Adam's openly gay and he always has been.
Watch the full interview below, as there are a few other interesting moments... regarding Seacrest's sexuality as well as her failed attempt to become a pop star (seems she was signed and later dropped from record labels twice).

Rumor has it that Adam will be confirming and talking about it finally himself in an upcoming Rolling Stone article (the week after the Lady Gaga cover I think).
I really thought he was going to win, I thought he was going to finally be the first gay Idol.
Kara needs to give it up, she really messed up the show thsi season. She thinks she is Paula Abdul, but she has no talent or the looks Paula has. I hope next season they show her the door.

Kara is a super talented established songwriter. She can sing and is beautiful too... Meow are you watching the same show we're watching?
"Adam has the bigger talent" - you say that as if it is proven fact rather than opinion.
The straight guy got more votes (lots more)- get over it!
If Adam were straight and Kris were gay and Kris still won, would you still be whining about Adam losing?
Or does it only matter when the gay guy loses (even though he never said on the show that he was gay).
And obviously America hates gay singers, which is why Elton John has such a lousy career.
I couldn't possibly care less what Adam's sexual orientation is. Non issue for me. My belief that he has the bigger talent is the reason I feel he deserved to win, and it's the reason the judges wanted him to win too. From day one, every time he took the stage, he owned it. Like a star. Always confident, always with a clear plan, he came off as a professional entertainer. I have no problem with Kris. Adorable guy! God bless him. Wish him all the success in the world. But there's a reason so many are shocked that Adam didn't take the crown.

I watched the entire season and never once picked up on Adam being gay. Besides, it would not matter, he can sing!Kara is beautiful, talented and funny in my opinion. I would rather see her on the show than Paula, but again that is only my opinion. Adam is a rock star and will go far, American Idol was just the platform for the launch of his career. I think Kris won because he has a broader appeal. It was the genre that cost Adam the title, not his talent or his sexuality.
Kara has been in the industry for a long time, but not in the public eye and it shows. She is going to have to learn - quickly - about how to gracefully answer without answering in interviews. She had no right whatsoever to out Adam; he can and should speak for himself. I hope that privately she apologizes to him and that she learns when to keep her pretty mouth shut.
