Kaleycuoco So, last week at The Paley Festival's "Big Bang Theory" event, Kaley Cuoco excitedly told reporters she'd be guesting on the "Grey's Anatomy" season finale. She wasn't sure what she'd be playing, but she didn't care. As a fan of the show, Kaley said she was more than happy to lend her acting services to the series, no matter what the role. Sadly, it seems CBS wasn't on the same page.

Here we are, seven days later, and some "unforseen scheduling conflicts" for "Big Bang" have suddenly popped up, killing Kaley's "Grey's" gig.

According to EW.com, CBS simply wasn't comfortable with one of their biggest stars moonlighting on another network's hit series.

CBS had no comment.

Shannonlucio So, thoughts? Sad to hear we won't be seeing Kaley on "GA"? And what do you think of "The O.C."'s Shannon Lucio (remember, she came in second season to play Lindsay, Caleb Nichol's illegitimate kid?) as ABC's second choice to fill the still-mystery guest role?

Is Kaley Cuoco really one of CBS's biggest stars? I'm guessing Charlie Sheen, Anthony LaPaglia, Dennis Haysbert, Jay Mohr, Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, David Caruso, Gary Sinise, Melina Kanakerides, Marg Helgenberger, Wanda Sykes, Jon Cryer, Neil Patrick Harris, Alyson Hannigan, Jason Segel, Laurance Fishburne, Jennifer Love Hewitt, (do I really need to keep going??) will be surprised to hear that.

I think CBS is making a big mistake. Kaley Cuoco doesn't have nearly a big enough fan base that her appearing on Grey's is going to give the show any kind of real boost. However, her appearing on the show would have raised her profile that much more and in turn raised the profile of

The Big Bang Theory. Oh well. Shannon Lucio is a better actor anyway.

I'm still guessing this role is a recast of Molly Grey or a relative of Izzie.

CBS should have let her do it. ABC let SC do How I met Your Mother.

That's scary to think she is one of their biggets stars on that network. Well, at least it's not Louis-Dreyfuss!

Kaleys fantastic and I would have loved her on Grey's..and I agree this would boosted her CBS show's profile.

That's kinda funny how CBS suddenly doesn't feel like lending Kaley over to ABC seeing as they just did the same exact thing by lending Scott Foley over to Scrubs. Hmm....

And didn't Fox JUST lend Summer Glau to Big Bang Theory?

That seems so stupid and childish to me. To not allow an actor to guest star on another tv show--if it can be worked out--just because it's on another network. That is so selfish and unsporting. Years ago, you use to see it all the time and the three broadcast networks were much more friendly with each other. A sign of the times, I guess--even though not a good sign.

Shannon Lucio gives me a reason to watch this show when it first airs instead of taping it to watch later. People dont give Kaley Cuoco enough credit though, ive seen the original pilot for Big Bang without Kaley Cuoco in it and she really does make it a much much better show. She may not be the biggest star at CBS but her and the rest of the cast make Big Bang one of the best shows on tv right now. It wouldve been a nice thing to see her on GA, it defenitly woudnt hurt the show.
