Will 'Party Down' stick around?
Will "Party Down" stick around? Uh, yes. For at least one season. Because the show airs on Starz, not on ABC (or any one of the broadcast networks), its full ten episode first season will most likely see the light of day, giving fans the chance to really fall in love with it.
The question is, will you?
The comedy is definitely there. I mean, Jane Lynch is in it. Enough said. Also, the weirdo from "Freaks & Geeks" co-stars, and "Veronica Mars" mastermind Rob Thomas is writing it.
But the above-mentioned comedy is a bit uneven in places. They've got promising lyrics going for them, but haven't quite fine tuned the melody yet. I think that's fair.
I don't know, what do you guys think? You can vehemently disagree with me by voting in our poll and commenting as well...

I probably would if I could but I can't so I didn't! hahaha
a comedy like this will always improve once we get to know the characters better. Ryan Hansen is the best part, even if he IS playing **** Casablancas all over again. (Enrico was great, too). I'll definitely be tuning in for Jason Dohring and Kristen Bell's performances!
I have watch the forst two episodes through Netflix. I think the show is halarious!!!
Cant wait until it airs this week, it looks like Ryan Pinkston, the ki from Punkd and Quintuplets is on.He cracks me up!!!
I liked it and i also like the little low blow on ABC (which I continue to boycott because of the kyle xy cancellation). But yes I agree that it may take time to adapt to the characters but it looks like it has potential
Never heard of it--and I thought Starz was kind of a low-rent Cinemax wannabee, not original programming. I've never seen it, because I haven't had cable for several years and when I had cable, Starz wasn't offered.
Watched this show on Friday and thought it was hilarious...great cast!
That Head Cases show on the other hand....oy, what that terrible
so far so good..i'll be tuning in
Enrico Colantoni has to get a nomination for "guest star" at the Emmy's this year. His character's melt down at the swimming pool was one of the funniest scenes I've seen on television all year.
Jane Lynch, Ken Marino, and Lizzy Caplain -- I'm in for the whole ride. This show is funnier than most half hour comedy's on regular television. Ken Marino is that funny and this show is very good.
I agree with Sandy K., Pinkston is one of the funniest young actors in Hollywood. His physical comedy on Quintuplets was beyond his years. I can't believe it has taken so long for him to show up on another program. I have purchased the Starz network just so I can watch this talented young actor, not to mention my daughter both have a huge crush on him.
