George Clooney, Julianna Margulies & Eriq La Salle return to 'ER'
Though NBC has not officially announced that George Clooney's much talked about ER homecoming will air Thursday, show sources confirm that his character Dr. Doug Ross will indeed return this week.
For that matter, so does NBC.com which teases the episode written and directed by executive producer John Wells, with the line "Special guest stars Susan Sarandon, Noah Wyle, Eriq La Salle, Julianne Margulies (and the doctor Hathaway married)."
So, will you tune in to see Clooney back on NBC tonight?

You bet I will! I would love to see Doug and Carol together again. I'm glad Clooney was willing to show up. I really loved ER those first several years best.
heck yes
Was there some type of agreement that if he returned that they couldn't use him in the promos?
Is that why they haven't been advertising it anywhere?
It might be a fun diversion.
The promos have said something along the lines of "All the doctors will be back ... " or "return."
