TwitterExclusive: Brian Austin Green lands part in The CW's 'Body Politic'
Winter, spring, summer, fall, it's pilot season and David Silver is keepin' it together.
Though the "Beverly Hills 90210" vet is currently a regular on FOX's "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles," The CW confirms that Brian Austin Green has just secured a role in their "Body Politic" project.
The series, if green lit, will follow young government staffers living and working in Washington, D.C.
Green will play Lucky, a D.C. insider who knows everyone in town.
The notorious BAG is just one of several names already attached to "Politic" including Gabrielle Union, Tim Matheson, "Friday Night Lights"' Minka Kelly, "Veronica Mars"' Jason Dohring and "Six Degrees"' Jay Hernandez.
So, does this mean Silverado will never return to Beverly Hills for an appearance as Donna Martin's loving husband on the new "90210"? Not really. He told me he is down and could easily do both.
More importantly for "Terminator" fans, does Green's "Politic" casting signal that the fate of "The Sarah Connor Chronicles" is sealed? Not necessarily. No doubt BAG's involvement in "Politic" is in second position to "T:TSCC," meaning that if "T:TSCC" gets another season, that would be his first priority. Still, the fact that he's looking around is not a good sign for the FOX show.
No word yet on whether BAG will bless us with a couple killer West Bev spin moves on any of his current or future projects...

Is Minka Kelly leaving FNL? Has FNL been cancelled?
no, no, Friday Night Lights is NOT canceled. Body Politic will be in second position to Friday Night Lights for Minka... though with Lyla graduating, FNL may not need her as much next season.

Although I don't expect to see Terminator renewed (too bad - it's the smartest show on standard network TV), the fact BAG is being cast in a pilot doesn't necessarily mean the series is toast. It could mean his character is toast.
Doesn't he get killed in next week's episode? "Somebody dies," the preview promised.
god i hope Terminator gets renewed. the show's been extra great the last couple weeks. but i don't know how much hope there is for it....
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!! For Pete's Sake, let's keep TSCC on for at least one more Season, and leave the Derek character alive ! He's great. I think Charlie is going to die, and judging from the picture posted with Cameron and John outside a electronic's store, it says that Sarah Connor gets arrested in L.A. on the news in the window. I love this show. Not just for the story-line, but for the characters as well.
I didn't think I would like him on TSCC but he's good for what little time hes on. MY guess is Sarah's old boyfriend bites the big one next week.

CW is becoming a powerhouse in the making ! Minka Kelly, Gabrielle Union, Brian Austin Greene...this is a switch in what type of network it is and what it is becoming.
