Twitter'Desperate Housewives'' Neal McDonough confirms his character will kill Nicollette Sheridan off show
Though we've known for more than a month that Nicollette Sheridan will leave "Desperate Housewives" this season, the rumors about how her character Edie will depart Wisteria Lane were not officially confirmed. Until now...
Neal McDonough, who plays Edie's sociopath husband Dave (he is determined to avenge the death of his former wife and daughter), told "Access Hollywood"'s Billy Bush yesterday that he would indeed be the one responsible for the demise of his current on-screen better half.
"It was hard for me," he said to Bush. "Because Nic played my wife all year and she has become such a great friend."
Fans following "Desperate Housewives" know that McDonough's character is planning an ominous camping trip with Wisteria neighbors Mike Delfino (James Denton) -- whom he blames for his late family's fate -- and Delfino's girlfriend Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany), which is set to take place this coming Sunday. But will Edie change her mind and crash the three-person wilderness party? Seems possible.
"I go hunting in the woods and I'm not hunting for deer," McDonough admitted. "[It's] a little WWE."
However, don't take the actor's confession about Edie's murder to mean that Mike Delfino and Katherine Mayfair are safe. McDonough also hinted that he may have more characters to off. "I'm not saying who I'm whacking."
So, comments? Questions? Will Mike or Katherine or be "DH" casualties too? I'm guessing no, since that's what the storyline has already set us up to expect...

My Sis's neighbor is a cousin of Chloe who told her that Jack Bauer is having her track FOX dish trucks being sent to Fairview State Park disguised as Porta-Potty vacuum trucks to scope out what's happening on the camping trip of Dave, Katherine, and Mike. Apparently, Jack is su****ious of why FOX also sent it's FOX News' Shepard Smith to cover things, i.e. Google pics of Shep if you are a Libber who wouldn't know Shep if you tripped over him.
You guys are too funny! Especially Bob. I'm laughing so hard it's slowing my typing down. But seriously, DH has been teasing this for over a month, so it's no surprise. And the creators of the show, which does have a moralistic bent, would never allow Dave to succeed in his murderous scheme, but instead have him screw up and kill his own wife, so he has to suffer even more than before. And that's fine - Edie has been marginalized for a long time, and Dave is so creepy he deserves the worst punishment he can get.
Not only haven't we spoiler warnings anymore but we are spoiling the shows right in the title.

This has been in the news for weeks Spoilers much. The fact that the actor istalking about it openly on TV and radio shows gives Zap2it the right to report on it.
I have to say I'm going to miss Nicolette Sheridan. Her character has grown more this year and has been a little more central to the plot lines. I enjoy her sense of humor.
You guys (PJ and PJ Hater hater) need to learn to comprehend what you read- she said that he DID say he was killing off Edie but there might be others, too. By the way, how do we know PJ is a female?
