Pathologist's Past: Long time Bones fans know that Cam was a police officer prior to assuming her position at the Jeffersonian, but we're about to learn a great deal more about Dr. Saroyan's previous life and how it shaped who she is today. For starters, Angela ain't the only one with an ex-fiance to speak of. Seems our favorite coroner was once engaged to marry a single dad whose daughter she was very close with. When the ex-fiance is murdered in an upcoming episode, Cam will offer the teenage orphan a new home with her.
Emergency Reunion: Though ER's Sam hasn't seen or spoken to her mother in nearly 15 years, we'll soon meet the 58-year-old Mary Taggert after she suffers a debilitating stroke. Momma Mary is said to be sticking around County General for a couple eps and patching things up with her somewhat bitter daughter.
Secret Friendship: Can you see Amy's baby daddy and her boyfriend being buddies? Yeah, me neither, but a bond between those two Secret Life characters may actually come about this season when bad boy Ricky begins working for sweet Ben's sausage king pop.

Nip/Lump: One of the McNamara/Troy men will find out that he's got breast cancer when the show returns to FX on January 6th. Any guesses on who it's going to be?

Oh, geez...is Tyra pathological or what? No one could miss her hormones going into overtime at the sight of Landry taking on yet another alpha-male role. I really feel bad for the boy. I had almost hoped his cute, little b***ist would agree to be his beard just to give him enough time to let his "Giving Tree" speech truly sink in. What she proved by running off with the cowboy, is that she has no resistance to alphas. Tyra is going to ruin Landry for the rest of the smart, level-headed women out there...

A bit of a quibble/question, wasn't Cam a coronor not a member of the PD?
This long-time Bones fan was under the impression that Cam was a coroner before she came to the Jeffersonian -- her supposed cop past wasn't even mentioned until the end of last season, two!years! after this always poorly defined character was introduced.
Oh well. If that was the only retcon going on on Bones I suppose I could live with it. As it is I think news of an upcoming Very Special Cam episode is pretty much it for me and this show.

Cams timeline has never been established. We know from her first episode that she was previously the chief coroner of New York City, which she held for two years and another coroner job before that. Her cop days and med school would have been before that.
Why are posts in italics?
Booth told Brennan Cam thinks like a cop! Cam was a coroner in NY not a cop. The writers need to watch season 1 and 2 dvd to catch up.
