Cobiesmulders Sorry, that headline was just my way of tricking you into reading this post. I mean, How I Met Your Mother's Cobie Smulders and her actor boyfriend, Taran Killam, are indeed expecting. People.com went public with the happy news earlier this morning. However, I have no idea if Cobie's real-life pregnancy (or the pregnancy of HIMYM's other leading lady, Alyson Hannigan) will affect the show's storylines. I did shoot an inquisitive email off to executive producer Carter Bays a bit ago... More »

Murray Mark Schwahn gives good interview, my friends. Six years into One Tree Hill, the creator is still so passionate about his series that after just getting off a long flight from Wilmington, North Carolina where the show shoots -- Chad Michael Murray is directing his first episode right now and Schwahn went down to peek over his shoulder -- he has no problem spending over an hour chatting about it... even with a journalist who may have poked a little fun at OTH in the past.

Joshholloway_2 Me? I fast forward at lightning speed through the 30 to 60 second ad spots the-powers-that-be place in between TV scenes. My girl, KTV correspondent Marisa Roffman, she possesses a thing called patience and keeps her eyes peeled for things like a new Lost season 5 promo that aired around the 50 minute mark of tonight's Grey's Anatomy. Peep it...

Leepace Well, Pushing Daisies is definitely dead. Sources tell me the actors and their reps were informed today, shortly after creator Bryan Fuller got the dreaded call from network chief Steve McPherson. As for Eli Stone and Dirty Sexy Money, they are on life support. A DSM insider says they're technically not canceled as of yet, but the only hope they have for recovery is if everyone and their mother turns out to watch next week's new episode...

Scottporter It's a real bitch watching Friday Night Lights without a box full of tissues sometimes... and tonight will be one of those times. A few weeks back, the show said goodbye to Smash Williams with a few poignant, emotional scenes and this evening's episode will provide a similarly worthy farewell to our boy Jason Street, aka "6".

So, what does everyone think about Hahn's "replacements"? And how about Shonda Rhimes trying to recapture the magic of Grey's season two with all this Denny action? Is Izzie seriously getting it on with a ghost? Let's discuss...

But first, a quickie Q&A to close out the week...
