Snore. This show's completely lost me. How else can we abandon the mythology? She's hot and all, but how long are they going to keep messing around until they finally do the link-up with Lois?

Alex | Oct 9, 2008 12:45:03 PM | #

They have to wait as long as possible to link with Lois I think but its coming. Looking forward to tonight's episode!

Alex: Maxima is part of the mythology.

How close this Maxima is to that is another question.

To me clark and lois both are working at the daily planet which is a huge step up to the mythology. In the old show the adventures of lois and clark they got married at the end of the third season and the shows ratings dropped bad and it was canceled. IF the producers give in to what everyone wants then there would be no show and you might as well go watch the brady bunch.

I agree with Scott. People should stop bitching. The show is moving as it should.

I can't believe this show is still on the air. Even more that you all are still watching it.

It has gone so far off course it's ridiculous. He's met almost EVERYBODY he's supposed to meet as Superman. He's not going to have anything to do in the blue tights, no new friends, no new enemies. He's already met and beaten them all...sheesh.

And Maxima? Are they serious? She's not part of the *mythology*, she is a MINOR character from a particularly uninspired era of the Superman comics. It just shows how desperate this show is becoming.

I thought I read somewhere that Doomsday was on the show. Ugh. People, this series is creatively bankrupt. It's a total flatline. It's lowest common denominator soap-opera hack writing at its worst. The writers should be ashamed of themselves.

They should have canceled this after the 3rd season.

JG...."hack writing"....lol.. funny....i think i heard this is the last season...so not sure how it will end...but if anything i have a feeling that lex will be back in some shape to wrap the series...

GET OVER IT! You don't like it, then 1) why are you in this kind of "answer forum" and 2) DON'T WATCH IT! But jeez, don't harp on everyone that does enjoy it. Though I've raised my eyebrows a bit at the "Doomsday" storyline, I was very pleased with what they did with Maxima and even Plastique! Yes, bomb girl earlier this year WAS a part of the DC mythos! The show is doing a great job, and I hope they keep it up!!

What a horrible episode it was. The Maxima actress didn't have a single drop of charisma and the character herself was totally boring. Not to mention that i could guess the entire episode's plot from his fifth minute.

Sam | Oct 12, 2008 3:05:05 AM | #

Really? I thought the episode was pretty much on par with every Smallville episode. Maxima had no charisma, but that's because they wrote her like a robot or something.

KJ | Oct 12, 2008 8:49:06 AM | #

I usually don't expect much from Smallville but i did like the 2 episodes before that, so i was a bit disappointed.
