Happy Halloween and happy Friday. Figured I'd tackle a few of your True Blood questions today, since some of you seem to be fiending for answers...

It's a big day, people. Whether you're carving pumpkins on Halloween eve or protecting your home from the perils of Devil's Night -- sorry, that's a Detroit reference -- please don't forget to tune your TV to NBC at 9:30 p.m. because 30 Rock premieres this evening. It's on right after The Office and, you know, even if you've already peeped the episode online, just leave your set on while Liz Lemon and her merry band of misfits do their thing tonight. The Emmy-winning comedy needs your vote of confidence. Or rather, the network it airs on needs to see numbers, so support!
Seems Courteney Cox's guest arc on Scrubs -- which will air on ABC early next year -- went quite well. Creator and exec producer Bill Lawrence was so pleased with her performance and on-set attitude that the two are teaming up again. Sources tell me exclusively that the former Friend will star in a single- camera comedy pilot for the alphabet net, tentatively titled Cougar Town, chronicling the day-to-day exploits of a hot single mother in her 40s whose social life is in high gear. Word is, Lawrence dreamed up the concept
specifically for Cox and is currently writing the first episode.
You know, I sort of want to cry when I think about the small percentage of TV viewers who've discovered the genius that is Friday Night Lights. I swear, each scene is like its own little touchdown, and tonight's hour -- airing on DirecTV -- is a lovely example of that. If you're waiting till midseason to watch this stretch of episodes on NBC, you might want to skip the rest of this item. But if you're up to date and down for a sneak preview of what to expect this evening, please keep reading...

Lorelai Gilmore (aka Lauren Graham) is giving her regards to Broadway, boys and girls. She just landed the female lead in the upcoming revival of Guys and Dolls, opposite Oliver Platt of Huff, West Wing and Nip/Tuck fame. Performances begin February 3rd... anyone wanna fly me out to New York for Valentine's Day?
In honor of LG's good news, let's knock out another Q&A today. More »
Ten days ago, I laid a bit of Greek finale scoop on you -- which you should definitely check out if you haven't yet -- and asked you to email me with any burning questions for the cast. While moderating the Screen Actors Guild Foundation's "Conversations" panel, which included Dilshad Vadsaria (Rebecca), Spencer Grammer (Casey), Scott Michael Foster (Cappie), Jacob Zachar (Rusty), Paul James (Calvin) and Amber Stevens (Ashleigh) -- Tiffany Dupont was out of town and Jake McDorman was at the Zack and Miri premiere -- I got a few of them answered...

Happy Monday, mo-fos (I say that with love, of course). I thought I'd begin the week by answering a few of your burning TV questions, and letting So You Think You Can Dance/Dance Crew fans know that SYTYCD season three finalists Dominic and Hok showed up to the Los Angeles ABDC auditions with their crew, Quest, this Saturday. Word is, they killed it. Apparently, they pulled out their own banner -- which they
made to look exactly like the ones on the show -- in the middle of their performance. Confidence. Love it. I'll call B.S. if they don't make the series.
Alright, on to the Q&A... More »
A bit of tube info before the weekend: Brothers & Sisters, Desperate Housewives, 90210, Eli Stone & Privileged. Enjoy...
Beating the life out of Tom Welling, stealing Aaron Ashmore's lady and getting naked on set... Smallville's Sam Witwer, who joined the series this season as Davis Bloome -- alter ego: Doomsday, the dude who kills Superman -- fills me in on what's to come...
