Quick TV Fix: 'Desperate' Moms, an 'FNL' Engagement and More 'Gossip'
It's August, the Fall season is fast approaching and I've got info on a few of our favorites...
Desperate Mothers, Daughters & Divorcees: Desperate Housewives' season finale gave us a quick preview of Bree five years in the future, with her suited-up son Andrew, all put-together and accomplished-looking. But what about daughter Danielle, who got knocked up and disappeared, leaving Bree to be baby Benjamin's mommy dearest? Sources tell me Joy Lauren (pictured left) will return to the series this Fall, but we'll be seeing a different version of Danielle. She'll be married to a good man, and full-time mother to 5-year-old Ben. That's right, word is Danielle filed for custody of the kid once she got her life together, which has created a brutal rift between her and Bree.
If you're wondering what the deal between Susan and Mike is, wonder no more. As I first reported back in May, James Denton will return to the show and it won't just be for flashbacks! I'm hearing Mike and Susan are divorced, and though she's seeing this Gale Harold guy, there will be plenty of awkward interaction between her and the plumber, since they've got 5-year-old Maynard (aka M.J.) to raise.
Friday Night Nuptials: Tyra Collette and Tim Riggins are becoming family on Friday Night Lights! Don't freak, Timmy and Lyla are still going to be together -- much to Buddy's dismay -- but Tyra's stripper sister, Mindy, and Riggs' beer-guzzling brother, Billy (Derek Phillips, pictured left), are planning a walk down the aisle this season, mhmmm...
Want more on FNL? Tyra will run for Student Body President this Fall, Smash will attempt to walk-on to the Texas A&M football team and Tami will gain a (temporary) best friend in J.D. McCoy's mom. J.D. McCoy, in case you don't know, is the freshman transfer student whose rich parents have moved to Dillon, so he can steal Matt Saracen's starting QB position.
Gossip Guys: Dan Humphrey and Chuck Bass = BFF? Well, maybe not forever, but yeah, the two will be boys this year on Gossip Girl. I'm told Chuck (Ed Westwick, pictured left) could even become Dan's writing muse. Desperate for life experiences, D looks to C.B. for fun and excitement, and he gets it. A bar brawl will land them in jail together before you know it. Could this be the end to boring Dan? Prob not, but one can always dream...
great scoop korbi!! can't wait for all 3 shows to return. sounds like FNL is going to have another great season!

I stopped watch DHW at the start of S2, it was just too stupid. Now that Gale is back on TV I'll be watching again.

Just one thing to ask though...any Carlos scoop?!
