So, second season. Is it all old hat for you at this point?
It’s still awesome for us because it’s still a dream job. We're still really excited about everything. But we are really comfortable with the people we work with and with a lot of the network and the writers and directors. 

Are you starting to get recognized as Cappie when you're running around town?
Yeah, absolutely. We’ll go out and people will say “Cappie!” or I’ll be walking on the sidewalk and I’ll pass a group of people and I’ll hear behind me “That guy’s on Greek!” Stuff like that. That’s kinda fun. And a lot of the people who do come up and say hello are huge fans. People seem to be responding very well to it. It’s good to know we’ve got a wide variety of people out there watching the show.

I think anyone who is not a fan simply hasn't seen the show.
Apparently there’s this new award show -- I don’t know if you’ve heard about it -- called Next New Now. We’re nominated for the Best New Show You’re Not Watching. [Laughs] Our producers responded a little like, not watching? We had 1.1 million viewers last week! But yeah, there are still a lot of people out there who haven’t seen it. I have friends that say when they finally did start watching it, they couldn’t stop. It’s cool that we have that kind of response.

I think it's the humor that gets me. The writing is so subtle and funny and you all pull it off so naturally.
Yeah, the writing gets better and better. There are some times where I feel like we’re trying to get storyline out and we have to go through this process of what happens in a school year, and then other episodes are just like, this is so accurate and just amazing. So, it's fun. I think we have a very good grasp on college life.

Do you ever go online and see what people are saying about the show?
I used to a lot. I really don’t use my computer anymore since I got a Blackberry -- It’s really sad. It has dust on it -- But from what I’ve heard, people are really into what’s going on with the characters. None of us thought people would be blogging about us, but it’s good to hear.

Yes, there’s a lot of Cappie/Casey debate. Although most of it is just, why are Casey and Cappie not together?!
Yeah, I used to hear that a lot. The beginning of the second part of season one, I heard it all the time. But now, I think a lot of people have adapted to the Cappie/Rebecca relationship and they’re like, I have a feeling they’re going to break up, I don’t want them to break up! So it’s cool that people are staying with the storyline and aren’t glued to one certain thing.

It’s fun seeing Rebecca and Cappie together because she can be so uptight and you’re so laid back, you bring out another side of her.
It’s very opposite, which is the way a lot of people come together. Opposites attract.

I, personally, love Cappie and Rebecca together.
Yeah! A lot of people do. My mom, she watches the show and she’s like, I don’t want you to break up with her, I have a feeling you’re going to break up with her and I don’t want you to do it. And I'm like, I’m not going to break up with her. The writers are going to break me up with her.

Ha, I love it. Your mom is a big fan, I’m sure.

Do you have a preference either way when it comes to Cappie being with Casey or Rebecca?
I’m not a writer. I don’t know how to make a good show. I just like being in front of the camera. But for me, I know Casey and Cappie are going to be together at some point. I think the more there is mystery and intrigue about when, if they do, will-they-won’t-they, all that stuff, that’s sort of fun. And I think there will be more of that if Cappie and Rebecca do break up. But I also think Cappie should have some single time. Maybe some alone time for him, and then yeah, I assume Casey and Cappie will have their moment.

Thanks for the interview. I think I like Cappie and Rebecca together as well they're so opposite it's fun to watch also she'd different with him than any other time on the show really. I can't wait for Greek to come back on it gives me great nostalgia of my college days!

I love Scott. Thanks for the interview. Cappie and Rebecca as a couple was tolerable for a while, but I'm more than ready for Cappie and Casey to get together. There's only so much 'will they or won't they' I can take! But Cappie having some single time isn't a bad thing either.

I'm all for Cappie being single. For a while. Cappie and Casey are endgame. Pretty sure of it. And I may be weird, but I kind of want Rusty and Rebecca to get together. Now those are two opposites. Plus, the inevitable drama it would bring with Cappie and Casey would be downright awesome.

I can't believe that 'Secret Life of the American Teenager' show is such a hit. The acting and dialogue is PAINFUL to watch. I'll stick with 'Greek'. I'm glad Scott is so sure that Cappie and Casey are going to get together. I would hate to think all this waiting was for nothing. That said, Rebecca and Rusty? Dude...that would kindabeawesome. Yeah, I said it.

i am a die-hard cabecca and am right there with scotts mom. caspie does absolutely nothing for me. i love the chemistry between all the actors is great but the on screne chemistry between scott and dilshad is just too amazing. as far as the character cappie, how can anyone not love him and scotts plays him so fabulously
i also love the bromance betwee scott/beaver/wade/heath (would love to see these 3 characters a whole lot more and wish they would make them regulars) alos love the cappie/evan dynamic and hope they can back to being buds
