'Supernatural' Scoops Up 'X-Files' Vet
Straight from ComicCon, a little Supernatural casting scoop, courtesy of our super intern, Marisa: The X-Files' Mitch Pileggi (Walter Skinner) will play Sam and Dean's maternal grandfather this season. As I told you on Friday, we will be getting to know the boys' mom and her parents this year, but grand pappy is the first new familial role to be filled. You satisfied with this hire? Great, haven't seen Pileggi since his appearance in The X-Files because I didn't follow Stargate Atlantis. I'm interested for how long he will stay on the show or whether it is only for one episode.

Hey, Jeffrey Dean Morgan (42) is too young to play their Dad, too, or at least Dean's Dad, but that didn't stop the casting folks! So, why not!?
