This is getting ridiculous. All these sites--Zap2It, TVguide, E, EW, keep replacing actual stories with video clips. Why is it so hard to understand that most people who go to these sites during the day are AT WORK!!!??? It is much easier and much "safer" to read text than watch and listen to a video while at work!! Please go back to actually posting stories.

Get a pair of head phones, asshole. All these sites, Zap2it, TV Guide, E, EW still write like crazy. I personally also enjoy the video coverage. Its so much fun to see my favorite TV actors interacting with people in real life.

And some of us are deaf. As in, we literally can't hear. So video clips without closed captioning are really annoying!

No need for name calling but I don't think it's fair for Scott to try and tell the internet sites to stop doing video. I like watching the video. You guys are acting like we shouldn't enjoy something because you can't adn that's not fair either. Jay, you can get a pair of headphones for 2 bucks at Kmart.

I don't know, I wouldn't mind a transcription of the video. I don't have time to sit here and watch video clips. I just quickly skim the stories. At least a warning on the index page that the story is a "video story" would be nice so I don't waste my time going to it.

I agree with Scott. I like to read the news while eating my lunch at work, and videos are blocked because of our security system. I can not stream video or watch youtube etc. But it is not just that, I enjoy hearing the writers ideas and voice in an article, that is why I read some blogs/authors daily. I like their style and opinions on the news they are presenting, if it was as easy as just posting a video we would not need writers.
