Larrydavid_curbyourenthusiam_240 Though HBO President Michael Lombardo was reluctant to use the word 'guarantee,' he did say today at the Television Critics Press Tour that Larry David has every intention of producing a seventh season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which they hope to debut at the end of next year.

Larry is currently filming a Woody Allen movie and his schedule will likely determine when production begins. Lombardo said that Mr. David already has ideas for the upcoming season, but has not yet shared them with the network.

In the history of TV (ok, well… let's say on premium cable), has the EVER been a show that has such LOOOONG periods of time go by between seasons???

I heard an interview with Cheryl Hines a few ago and she was at a total loss to explain why they take such a long hiatus between seasons.

I can only guess that Larry David considers himself semi-retired and "Curb" is more of a hobby than a job.

Then once the outlines and story arcs for the season are eventually written, it must take some time to coordinate all the actor’s schedules.

the last season's finale was such a cliffhanger... Do you think Larry will really be done with Cheryl and involved full time with the Blacks?

By far the funniest sitcom ever and I hate sitcoms other than this one and Seinfeld. David incorperates a lot of part's of Seinfeld into CYE episodes. You can easily tell when David quit Seinfeld for the remaing Seinfeld shows did not have his twisted humor.
