A quick dose of small screen scoop to get you through the week...

Marylouiseparker_weeds_240_002 Weeds On, Weeds Off: The fourth season of Showtime's bud show bows this Monday and if you haven't yet seen last week's scoop on what to expect, do check it out. Since then, I've gathered a bit more intel on the new year and can tell you that psycho gangster Guillermo (Guillermo Diaz) is back and Nancy (Mary-Louise Parker, pictured left) will most definitely be in business with him... the smuggling drugs over the border business. Let's just say he acts as a sort of mentor to Ms. Botwin when it comes to this unfamiliar area of the trade. In fact, in the beginning, he kind of Mr. Miyagi's her, if you know what I mean.

Rachelgriffiths_brotherssisters_240 Mothers & Daughters: Nora and Sarah (Rachel Griffiths, pictured right) could be in for a bit of a Freaky Friday role switch on Brothers & Sisters next season. I'm told the Walker matriarch may be breaking ground on her own business, a foundation that raises money for families of cancer patients, while her daughter -- who ultimately leaves Ojai Foods behind -- might be a stay-at-home mom for a short period of time.

Rescue Him: One of Rescue Me's series regular firemen, whom we know and love (and like to laugh at), will be diagnosed with cancer this season -- a cancer which was likely caused by fumes inhaled during his weeks of post 9-11 clean up duty.

Glenhowerton_itsalwayssunnyinphilad It's Always Creepy In...: The Fall season of It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia has just started production and I'm hearing a few rumors about what's on tap. I'm told Dennis (Glenn Howerton, pictured left) will be writing his erotic memoirs, but because his life is so boring, he'll fake his way into rehab for more fodder. Mac and Charlie will apparently be busy faking too: their own deaths (when Mac's dad gets paroled from prison). And after someone poops in Frank and Charlie's beds, the two will launch a full-scale CSI investigation to find the culprit. Oh shut up, you know you're laughing right now.

Branka Past Love: Just as Barb begins to accept the idea of Bill dating Ana (Branka Katic, pictured right) next year on Big Love, an Australian blast from Ana's past will show up and his presence could blindside all parties involved.

That's it for today. But don't forget that TBS' My Boys debuts tomorrow night. And if you're in the Boston area, you might want to catch up with my girl Kath from Give Me My Remote who's hosting a hometown viewing party for the show on June 19th. Word is one of the cast members will be in attendance...

I can't wait for more Sunny. I LOVE that show. It's so hilarious. Every time I see a calculator I say to myself "what are you?"

I have a bad feeling about Garrity on Rescue Me now :( Although if it is him with cancer, I'm sure Steven Pasquale will do a brilliant job with the storyline, it's been a long time since he's had the chance to play something truly dramatic.

I can't wait for Sunny. Praise the DVR and the pause button. I laugh so hard I have to pause or rewind because I'll miss something when I'm laughing so hard!!

Last year when Charlie was wearing the green man suit. Then Frank and his gun! Priceless!

You're right Korbi, I laughed out loud.

Wendy - Thanks for the laugh - I also think this is one of my fav lines from Sunny! This show has got to be my absolute fav comedy!!

"Sunny" is the funniest show on television that no one talks about. If Kaitlin Olson "Sweet Dee" isn't up for a "best supp. actress" Emmy in an extremely weak year for comedies on televison, then something is very wrong. She is one of the funniest females on television. Her disappearance from "The Riches" this year was noticable.

Howerton and Day should also get writing nods for "The Aluminum Monster vs. Fatty McGoo". (probably the only title that wouldn't immediately turn off the voters) So damn funny.

It'll never happen but one can hope that the someone notices this show. Shorter season than network and it's difficult to find a weak half hour of this show.

Are you making some kind of sick "wax on" joke? LOL.

As much as I like the idea of Sarah leaving Ojai, I don't think her staying at home is gonna work for her character. I hope she finds a job and quick. Maybe with Noah from season 1? And he could double as a romantic interest!
