Officetrio_240 An engagement, a pregnancy, a death and infidelity. These are just a few of the rumors regarding next week's season finale of The Office making the rounds.

At this point, none of the aforementioned possibilities have been confirmed, but in honor of Angela Kinsey and Warren Lieberstein's new arrival, Isabel Ruby (she was born on Saturday), I thought it might be fun to tell you that another lady in the Dunder-Mifflin family is currently with child. Not in real life though. No, this pregnancy is strictly storyline-related, and what a storyline it will be ...

While I can't come right out and spread the word on who's expecting (unless you want me to alienate the entire staff of The Office on the first day of KTV), I will say that this pregnancy has the potential to change everything. And it's also hilariously funny, too ... That is, if you find comedy in hopeless situations that are anchored in deceit and despair, as I do!

Oh, I'm kidding, there's a cute little bun in someone's oven, how could that be a bad thing?

Take our poll and weigh in on which Office chick you think is knocked up.

I would say Meredith, but, depending on how pregant the person is, Meredith's baby wouldn't have made it through all the injuries Meredith's been suffering. Obviously it's Phyllis. She still with that refrigeration dude, right?

I'm saying Jan because it's the best way to keep her on the show now that she and Michael have broken up. It would be a shame to lose Melora Hardin for good.

Great scoop on your first day, Korbi. This is HUGE. I'm dying. Thank you!!!! I know it's got to either be Kelly or Jan!

How funny would it be if it were Phyllis. Mother Goose would have a baby. Love it. I'm more worried about this death thing though...unless it's not an important death and someone random? :(

WOW! 4 blog posts on your first day! Color me impressed. Looking forward to reading a lot more from you.

if it has the potential to change everything, then i'd say jan or kelly. but jan makes sense cause that'd cause michael to take her back. i guess kelly being pregnant wouldn't change much cause it's been way too long for it to still be ryan's kid, right?

Jan's ultimate manipulation of Michael. Michael as an expectant father. Who would be the Godfather? Dwight & Andy would have the ultimate brown-nose competition for the title.
It has to be Jan!!!!!!!!

If you added the infidelity to the pregnancy, along with hopeless, despair and everything changing, then Kelly having a baby with Ryan. She cheated on Darryl with Ryan one night while he was wasted.

Oh, unless it's Jan with Hunter's baby. Haha! That would be funny.

I think it could be Jan. Even though she's always been a little... odd, she was off-the-wall weird during "The Dinner Party."

Perhaps it was a hormonal thing.

I think it's probably Jan, but Angela being pregnant would be great. Can you imagine an Angela/Dwight offspring??? That would be greatness!

Diann | May 6, 2008 8:37:16 AM | #

i'll say who it aint...michael. he's had at least 4 vasectomies.

the_shoparazzi | May 6, 2008 8:42:15 AM | #

It can't be Angela because Ed Helms's Andy is leaving to star in the Office spin-off. Jan via Michael or Kelly via Ryan would be the best two options.

i think it might be Meredith. if you watch the last episode, she always covering her stomach which i thought was a rib on angela being preggos.

Korbi, you always have the best scoops! I am glad that you can get credit for them on KTV. My guess is Jan, but Kelly/ Ryan would be funny too.

I just remembered that there is NO WAY it is Merideth. She doesn't have a uterus. Remember from Season 1 Ep 3-Healthcare? She had a hysterectomy.

Meredith: Could you mean vagina? Because if you do, I want that covered.
Dwight: I thought your vagina was removed during your hysterectomy?
Meredith: A uterus is different from a vagina. I still have a vagina.

If anyone could screw up multiple vasectomies, it's Michael.

Korbi! I just found you over here and immediately added you to my RSS feed. Congrats on the new gig. :)

@lyricgirl: Drat. I totally forgot about that. I voted for Meredith.

It must be Jan. Baby would be too much for Jim and Pam and how else are we going to keep Jan around?

Julie | May 6, 2008 2:39:33 PM | #

Hey Bitchling--congrats on the new job!

Jen | May 6, 2008 5:17:01 PM | #

Meredith doesn't have a uterus.

It can't be Meredith - she's had a hysterectomy.

Ergelgrew | May 7, 2008 10:25:50 AM | #

oh i am glad i didnt see karen on this list. that would have been absolutely terrible. and i mighta been too sick to watch it.

emily | May 7, 2008 2:11:57 PM | #

Has anyone thought that Pam might be pregnant! She and Jim could have...you know. But I doubt it's her. GOSH ALL OF THIS IS SO INTENSE!

Katherine | May 7, 2008 2:12:23 PM | #

well...It can't be meredith because, as stated previously, she tragically lost her uterus. and on Dwight's Org. Chart from last week, it listed Phyllis as "post-menopausal"...I think Jan is going to be leading the way on the baby train.
