Annalynnemccord_90210_240 Last season on Nip/Tuck, AnnaLynne McCord (pictured, left) gave Sean a heart attack, convinced poor little Annie to become anorexic and poisoned Julia, trying to pass the whole scheme off as a suicide attempt. I couldn't stand the site of her evil face. And yesterday evening, I found myself staring right at it, at the Stone Rose Lounge, here in L.A. Yes, both AnnaLynne and I were celebrating life on a school night and after a nice chat with her, I'm pleased to report that she isn't at all like her Nip/Tuck character, Eden. On the contrary, I was actually struck by how cool she was, and so very willing to talk about her new and old gigs.

Turns out, she will be back on Nip/Tuck next season to face the consequences of Eden's actions, despite her large role on the new 90210. "90210 has been really cool about letting me finish my arc on Nip/Tuck. It's gonna be good," AnnaLynne told me. She went on to say that she's really excited about the spin off and though she's a little young to have been a fan of the original series, she's been doing her research, catching up on old episodes. "All my friends are in their late 20s and early 30s, so they were all into 90210 when it was on and can't believe this is happening! My parents are really conservative though, so they were a little [less excited]."

If that's the case, I can't imagine what they thought of the super sexualized Eden Lord, but the new 90210 is definitely trying to push a boundary or two with the "good" and "bad" teenagers engaging in blow jobs and some naked web cam action within the first couple acts of the pilot. Thankfully, for AnnaLynne's parents, her bitchy character Naomi Bennett doesn't participate in those two particular scenes, but I'm sure there's plenty of naughty action ahead for her. In fact, after reading the first episode, methinks their may be a bit of angry sexual tension between Naomi and her 20-something teacher played by Ryan Eggold (Dirt). And who knows, maybe my boy Ian Ziering will sign on to play a dirty, old skirt-chaser who's into her. AnnaLynne said she's quite sure more of the 9-0 vets are currently in talks to appear, but the producers won't even fill the cast in, 'cause they're afraid of leaks...

I'm just keeping my fingers crossed for Brenda's triumphant return to BH. Can you imagine how huge a Dylan-Brenda reunion would be? Maybe even big enough to save the CW...

Wait a second Korbi...you mean you don't want to know that Dylan/Kelly and David/Donna ended up staying together after the end of the original?

nope. i want donna and david together, yes. but it's dylan and brenda forever as far as i'm concerned!

I sorta agree that it should be Dylan and Brenda, with Brandon coming back to propose to Kelly. Although they should wait on that storyline, perhaps season 2 if Kelly signs on as a regular. That would pop a late 20's/early 30's rating big time.

Yay! Thanks for the scoop, Korbi. And I'm with you--Dylan and Brenda forever! I swear to God, I would be so frakkin' happy if they showed up on the show. They were a great couple, damn it.

I have never, in my life, felt in such good company. Dylan and Brenda was my coupling of choice too! LOL. Ah, "celebrating life". Love the euphemisms, K.

Give me a freaking break. While the show certainly could use a boost from the past to ***ist it launch this new show has to stand or fall ultimately on it's own. This is a new 90210 not a reunion of the previous 90210 generation. If they bring back the entire cast of the old show then the new characters are shoved out of the picture and the show just becomes a continuation of the original 90210. Now most people wouldn't complain about that but the intent is to do a brand new 90210 and to make viewers care about the new kids just as much they cared about Brenda, Dylan, and Kelly. If they can't succeed on it's merits or lack of after a certain period of time than the show should fail.

"though she's a little young to have been a fan of the original series, she's been doing her research, catching up on old episodes"

c´mon! that´s no excuse! just say u didn´t like it back then haha

i´m a couple of years younger than her, i´m a fan and i think i saw 95% of 90210....
