Tonight's cuppa: Barry's decaf tea with whole milk (decadent, I know!)
On Tuesday and today, Thursday, I headed to Hollywood to Paramount Studios to do a set visit to the upcoming Fox series "Glee," which premieres with its pilot episode on Tuesday, May 19, in conjunction with "American Idol," then doesn't return to the schedule until fall.

I took a break from watching musical numbers being shot on set to head outside and commandeer an empty golf cart in back of the soundstage to do my regular Thursday appearance on Shaun Daily's TV Talk show on blogtalkradio.com. Click here for that -- I come in at about the 25ish-minute mark.

During the conversation, I shared a snippet of a recording I made on set. In the episode, the boys and the girls in the high-school glee club
at the center of the show are competing to see which gender gets to perform the opening number in a competition.

I love the clips and Lea Michele rocked it! I can't wait to see it on the small screen.
Wow, they sound AMAZING? Do you know who's singing Confessions on the guy track? It doesn't sound like Cory, but I can't tell who it is...
I don't. There was a group of boys singing, including one or two that weren't in the pilot. Guess you'll have to wait until the show airs!

Arty was there, so it's quite possible. I don't have video to refer to, though. We'll all have to wait until sometime this fall to know for sure...
I'm 100% sure it was "arty" his name is Kevin Mchale and he was in a boyband NLT prior to the show he's an amazing singer.
I got to meet Kevin on set, and he's both a nice guy and, as you say, an amazing singer. He also says he can dance, but not sure if we'll see that anytime soon on "Glee."
I've had the pleasure of meeting Kevin a few times and got to see him perform at an NLT show before they broke up. looking at him you wouldn't think he could dance like he does It's pretty interesting. I'm hoping for a dream sequence or something where we can witness it lol.
I believe that hopes for a dream sequence were mentioned! ;) But that's all up to the powers-that-Glee...
wow.....Hearing Kevin sing "Confession" is so surreal. That boy is so awesome and he is singing one of my FAVORITE songs. Not to mention that they combined this song with another one of my favs. Im so excited for this show! Go Kevin and Glee! :D
