And...we're back! Thanks for that six minute break, Biggest Loser! This is the season of new trainers, a development about which I am exceedingly skeptical....

Ronaldmorelli_biggestlosercouples_240 Everyone faces Herculean challenges this week on "The Biggest Loser: Couples." The Losers discover they have to run a marathon. The viewing audience discovers it has to watch what felt like 26.2 hours of filler and product shilling. Just get ON with it!

Michaelmorelli_biggestlosercouples_240 Wow, this was one fillerific episode of "The Biggest Loser: Couples," wasn't it? Did we really need all those montages and reminders of "the journey" -- and if we DID need to see that, couldn't they at least have used Journey as the background music? Come on, show -- when you give me nothing but filler, I have to make my own fun.

Taracosta_biggestlosercouples_240 Every season on this show, there's a point where a competitor has  chance to trade in a ridiculous amount of money for a one-pound credit. We've reached that moment on "The Biggest Loser: Couples." So what happens?

Michaelmorelli_biggestlosercouples_240It was a tough night on "The Biggest Loser: Couples". Yeah, we got makeovers, but even that couldn't make up for a heartbreaking reversal of fortune for a competitor who had really been growing on me. They eliminated the right person for the right reasons, but that didn't make it any easier to take.

Lauradenoux_biggestlosercouples_240 As you can imagine, last week's failed ouster of Ron made things Un! Comfort! Able! on "The Biggest Loser: Couples." So when the Losers were given the opportunity and a plausible reason to drown their discomfort with calories... well, most of them did.

Ronaldmorelli_biggestlosercouples_240 "The Biggest Loser: Couples" has me nearly apoplectic with rage and bile, as someone comes back to the ranch, someone leaves, and someone (cough RON! cough) needs to disappear from my TV screen before I do some serious damage to my electronics.

Taracosta_biggestlosercouples_240 "The Biggest Loser: Couples" takes a trip to the playground this week as we see who's popular, who's picked on, and who's going to cry. Plus, we switch to one-on-one competition, but some of the competitors have trouble letting GroupThink go.
